If you’ve just started playing Pokemon GO, it is likely that you’ve probably picked up a couple of eggs by now. They can be found floating alongside poke balls at PokeStops, but like many things on Pokemon GO, it isn’t entirely clear what you are meant to do with them. But, as players will quickly discover, they are pretty important if you want to fill your pokedex up entirely and maximise your progress. To hatch an egg you first need to put it in an incubator. Do this by first tapping on your red and white poke ball and tapping the pokemon button. Then select ‘eggs’ on the top right of the screen. Touch one of the eggs and a menu will pop up showing your incubators. If you have just started playing the game, you should have one incubator with an infinite amount of uses. For those a who have been playing a little longer, you may even have picked up a second incubator with a set amount of uses. Click one of the incubators and select ‘start incubation’.
